Beyond the classroom... to the school of life:
XIMR, in the Jesuit tradition, forms persons for others, and with others. Students immerse themselves in the life of Tribals as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, and develop a deeper appreciation for issues confronting the poor and the underprivileged. They use their knowledge to draw plans that can improve the quality of life of the tribals.

The only B-School to teach Spanish in 3 semesters, in keeping with our thrust on Latin America and Africa.
Perhaps the only B-School that integrates Liberal Arts with Management Education through optional, value-added courses such as International Relations, Comparative Philosophy, Comparative Religion, Spirituality and Management etc. These courses provide a holistic perspective of business.
Introduced the Cohort – based learning wherein, permanent groups of 5 students will work together in the entire first year, for all courses. This fosters a spirit of team work, collaboration and ability to manage differences. This will be an invaluable experience in their professional life.
Deep commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility. Students undergo immersion programs in tribal communities to develop a deeper appreciation of issues.
Further, students are actively involved in rural outreach/development programs of XIMR to help tribals improve their quality of life.
Individual mentoring based on psychometric testing and analysis.
Peer mentoring Program. This program has a two fold objective:
» It helps new students adapt to the environment and benefit from the experiences of the senior students.
» Students specializing in Human Resources are provided an opportunity to mentor and develop their mentoring skills under professional supervision.
