XIMR has 8
core faculty and 66 visiting faculty. However, in keeping with
our mission, the Institute will add core-faculty covering all major
disciplines to maintain a high student: faculty ratio, ensuring quality
education. Our faculty brings a wealth of industry and teaching
experience, creativity, and an intense learning environment to the class
room..
1. Fr. Paul Vaz, S.J.: A
Postgraduate in Development Management from the Asian Institute of
Management, Manila, Philippines. He has 25 years teaching experience in
Institutions such as the Asian Institute of Management Philippines. He
has also worked with an UN organization – UNDP. He has conducted several
workshops around the world that are widely attended by senior corporate
executives. His areas of interest are: Human Resource Management,
Organizational Behaviour and Development Management.

2. Fr. Conrad Pesso, S.J.: A
qualified Cost Accountant and Company Secretary with 20 years industry
experience in leading companies. He also has 15 years of teaching
experience in the areas of Finance and Accountancy.
His areas of interest are: Cost & Management Accounting, Financial
Management and Strategic Cost Management.
3. Prof. Dr. Vaidyanathan: Double Doctorate with 20
years teaching experience in leading B Schools in India. He also has 12
years of work experience both in India and abroad. He has presented
papers in several industry conferences and conducted workshops for
leading companies.
His areas of interest are: Strategic Management, Business Policy,
International Marketing and Innovation Management.
4. Prof. Ravindra Dey: Head – Organizational Behaviour
An MBA with more than 15 years of teaching and industry experience. He has an excellent track record in companies like Ion Exchange, Hindustan Pencils, OMCI, Wockhardt, TCG, EWDL, etc.
His areas of interest are: Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management.
5. Fr. Dr. Anthony Dias, S.J.: Doctorate with 16 years
teaching experience. He is actively involved in social research and action with several
leading NGOs and has carried out extensive work in the area of
Environmental Sustainability.
His areas of interest are: Corporate Social Responsibility and
Environmental Sustainability.
6. Prof. Dr. Maria Baretto: A Doctorate in Psychology has three decades of experience in research, teaching, and consulting in the areas of psychology, mental health and education. Her focus is the mentoring of students based on psychometric testing and analysis. She has developed and implemented a mentoring program through which senior H.R. students are trained to conduct mentoring programs to students in their first year.
Interests: Psychology, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management
7. Prof. Akshay Shetty: A Master of Commerce with 2
years experience.
His areas of interest are: Accounts and Finance.
8. Fr Jeevan Mendonca, S.J.: Post graduate from XIMB with over 15 years of experience in rural management.
His areas of interest are: Rural Management.
